Shawn Hanrahan provides coaching and programs to enhance both the throwing
abilities and athletic performance of young athletes.
Do you want to compete to your highest potential?
Do you want to throw at a level to potentially receive a college
scholarship?
Then you have come to the right place. The weight events are probably the
most difficult and frustrating sports to compete in at any level, especially
at the beginning. Most of the athletes I train have had little to no
experience in both the ring and weight room. After a short time they
have seen significant improvements.
Many throwers wait until the season starts to begin throwing. There’s
no better time to start than now. The high school season is short and
many throwers never reach their potential before it’s over. If you are
trying to compete at a collegiate level, you will not want to wait until the
end of the season to hit your big marks.
Hammer Throw
Many high school athletes do not have the opportunity to throw the hammer.
As is for the majority of the states,
high school hammer is
not a sanctioned event in Arizona. However, here’s your chance to
learn one the most enjoyable and raw throwing events which can clearly help
your college scholarship efforts. Become competitive with other
throwers in the nation, compete at USATF and collegiate meets and have fun.
It’s a great advantage to increase your chances of receiving a college
scholarship, as it has been with all the athletes I have trained. |
